If you have recordings from discovery interviews, usability tests, or sales meetings that contain valuable insights, interviews is where you can upload and extract the important stuff. Even when conversations aren't directly related to your current priorities, they often contain gold nuggets that become relevant later.

What you can import

Audio and video files in most common formats. Pilea transcribes your recordings in over 100 languages with speaker detection, so you know who said what. You can also replay the original file while reviewing insights.

How importing works

Getting your interview recordings into Pilea is straightforward:

1. Click "+" from the top navigation and select "Interview"
2. Upload your file and follow the in-app instructions
3. Wait for transcription - Pilea handles this automatically
4. Choose your analysis approach:
   • Manual highlighting - mark specific segments or sentences that catch your attention
   • Auto-analysis - let Pilea automatically identify and categorize key insights
   • Combination - use both approaches for thorough analysis

Once processed, your interview becomes a searchable, categorized data source. You can explore themes, find specific quotes, and connect insights across multiple conversations.
