Product people from Favrit, Abilia, Kompany, PhotoRoulette, ReWind, Flowcase and Monil joined us for a full day of problem-solving, sketching and conversations about how product teams work with customer feedback.

At Pilea we've spent the past months nailing integrations for collecting customer feedback and data, getting all your valuable feedback into one place. We knew the next leap had to come from our customers. How should Pilea visualize insights? How can we make it obvious for product teams what to work on next? We didn't want to guess. We wanted to build it together.
The day followed a structured Monday-to-Wednesday design sprint format (by Knapp, Zeratsky & Kowitz), crunched into one day. Our goal was to finish the day with "solution sketching" and the "sticky desicion".

We started by asking everyone to map their current workflow, from incoming feedback all the way to production. No fancy drawings required, just honest sticky notes, arrows and sharpies on A3 paper. Then each group presented their workflows, and we used dot stickers to highlight moments of delight and pain.
β
Before lunch, we turned the pains into "How might we..." questions. Everyone wrote as many as they could in six minutes, then grouped and voted on the ones worth solving. This gave us a sharp focus for the afternoon.

This was the fun part! Everyone walked the room for inspiration, sketched rough ideas, then did Crazy 8s: eight variations of their best idea in eight minutes. Finally, each person created a detailed solution sketch, anonymous but with a catchy title.
We put all the solution sketches on the wall, museum-style. Everyone voted with dot stickers, we discussed the highlights, and a winner emerged. The prize? A disco light to spice up Friday discos at home (or at work).

Beyond the winning concept, "Lenses", we walked away with something valuable, an understanding of how product teams using Pilea today would like to handle feedback and prioritization. We saw the workflows, the workarounds, the frustrations. And we got concrete, opinionated ideas for what Pilea 2.0 should look like, straight from the people who use Pilea 1.0.
We're now working on bringing the solutions into Pilea 2.0. We'll keep you posted!

A huge thank you to everyone who gave us a full day of their time and creativity. Building a product is so better when you do it together with your users.
